SWEAT! departs from the process of perspiration (sweat) -  an internal process that manifests stress, modifying temperature, as well as an intimate manifestation of effort and pleasure. The work deal with information trade and body and emotions as commerce highlighting the intricate enmeshment of technology with bodies, exploitation, violence and labor. The video uses actuarial tables, a discipline that applies mathematical and statistical methods to assess risk in insurance, finance, and other industries and professions. More generally, actuaries apply rigorous mathematics to model matters of uncertainty.
